KNOCK HER OUT
Dear Editor:
Anita, a constant blight on the gay community, needs to be knocked out of her job as "Orange Juice Queen." It is certain that she has been a great cause to rally around but we must silence her, defeat her, once and for all. To lose to her would be orange rot in our faces. I feel that the methods we have used are not quite right. It seems that most people are not interested in giving up a quick and easy source of Vitamin C. · Heaven knows how scarce tomato and grapefruit juices are, not to mention their natural whole counterparts; however all is not lost.
Instead of boycotting all orange juices, boycott one major brand. When auto unions strike the auto companies, they strike all the companies. Also, while say GM is on strike, the rest are still making cars to sell

and therefore, still making profits. This makes for a much better lever to bargain with.
Now, I have selected a brand. to boycott, one that is a national brand, "Minute Maid". There are several reasons for this brand. 1) It is advertised under one name all over the country, which means an easy identification to say. "you, Charley, 'I want D. Duck O.J." 2.) It is owned by Coca Cola, which means we can turn thumbs down on that product too, and switch to Pepsi.
Now, if I haven't missed my guess, Coca Cola would gladly twist someone's arm to get Anita's top twisted off in the face of their falling sales, and an increase in sales for the competition. A note to the Advocate by you would be a good start.

PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR ON YOUR WAY OUT
There are no gay students left at CSU
I know, 'because
the last one was my friend, and he transferred to the University of Transvaal, or something. I know. because
whenever I wear my traxx t-shirt
no one looks at me, except a few straights
who look at me hard, trying to remember what it was they heard about that particular bar.
I know because
we all stay so fucking invisible.
that no one can even tell we're here.
not even us.

Each night in my dreams.
A young man lies there by my side
His ice-blue diamond eyes asleep, mine misty, for I've cried.
With joy again to know we've shared
What only two men can,
The love of lust and flesh together
Given man to man.
Each night we share a common heartbeat,
Pumping blood of fire,
To fill the voices of passion felt--
To quench our one desire.
Again I made his hardness mine,
My lips taste sweet success.
The final thrust, the quaking end,
A kiss, a last caress.
Our steaming bodies sleep at last, Together, limbs entwined,
Until the light of morning takes him,
Leaving me behind.
Each hour I dream of yesterday
And pray it will return.
For yesterday you were my love
For yesterday I yearn.
Though yesterday was warm and close,
Today is cold and far.
For yesterday you were my love,
Today you are no more.
It's you my love, who fills my dreams of yesterday so fine.
And in my dreams you'll always be,
Until once more you're mine.
